Description Fuel injector seal kit – 4age 16V Due to their rubber construction injector seals are prone to perish and end up leaking. At worst a fuel leak could cause an engine bay fire. These seals are not included as part of any Gasket and seal kit and therefore must be purchased separately.   Supplied The price is for 4 injector seals sets. Each combined kit contains the following: – Vibration dampener x 4 – Grommet x 4 – Top seal x 4   Parts options There are two different types of injector seals pending on which model of 4age / 4agze 16V engine it is. Early: These have a rectangular shaped plug without rounded corners. The plug uses a steel wire clip on the outside Late: Still with a flat top and bottom but with the difference of having rounded corners. Also the plug clips on using a plastic housing alone.   Notes – Before reinstalling the injectors the O-rings should have some oil (any kind) wiped over them. Failure to do so might cause them to grab and twist during fitment resulting in a tear. – It’s also suggested if it has never been done before to get the injectors cleaned and tested before re-installing.
