EffectAn extremely versatile prop with many uses both close-up and stage, two members of the audience assist you. One is given a small bag to hold and a sealed envelope. From the other spectator you borrow a small article, a coin , watch, note, ring or other small object. The borrowed item is wrapped in a handkerchief and given to the spectator to hold. You then show the audience what is in the bag , a small locked wooden box.The spectator holding the bag examines the box and places it back inside the bag. The other spectator confirms that he still has the borrowed item BUT suddenly the handkerchief is snatched away. The item has gone! The spectator holding the bag is asked to open it up and once again remove the box. It's still locked. When the spectator opens the envelope, which has remained in his possession throughout the entire effect, inside is the key which opens the padlock that enables the lid of the box to be opened. Inside the box is another locked box. Inside the second box is the actual vanished article. No switches, no exchanges, and easy to do. This apparatus can also be used for a prediction effect. Opening the box, inside can be a piece of paper on which is written the day's headlines or winner of a competition. (Supply your own Devil's Hank and any old bag). It's a truly great effect.
