Description “Where the Road Leads.“ It seems that autumn always brings about introspective thoughts and moods. Especially when times are difficult. After editing this photo, I was reading a book, and it brought me to find this verse… Proverbs 4:26 “Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.” In this chapter, King Solomon is writing to his son. Working to impart wisdom and doctrine so that he may lead a life which serves God. He goes on in the next verse to say: “Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” This to say: Stay on God’s path for our lives. As relates to this photo – do not stray off into the forest and get lost. Keep your objective – eternal life – always in sight and live for that. Because we are eternal beings and staying on God’s road for us will ensure that we both bring others to Him and that we get to spend eternity in the light and perfection of God’s presence. The road on the way will be both filled with beauty, as seen here, and also difficulty. But we can only ever see where we are at the time we are there. Pray for the strength and wisdom to discern God’s will and stay on His road. This is my prayer for all: “Stay on God’s path.” This photo was taken not far from our home near Glennie. It is a forest service road leading into the National Forest which has honestly become our peaceful refuge in this world and the favorite place for my wife, Jessica, and I to recharge our souls in God’s creation. We are so very blessed. Alcona County is amazingly gorgeous. Enjoy! Available in all of our popular formats! And, of course, custom options available upon request.
